Current
American Hustle- Great performance by Christian Bale and Amy Adams. Could win best picture. Must-see
The Wolf of Wall Street- A little wild on the subject matter, but Leo nailed the role and could win his first Oscar. Another must-see
Dallas Buyers Club- McConaughey has a shot based on his performance, but the movie is just okay
Captain Phillips- Another great role from Tom Hanks, and the movie is worth seeing
Lone Survivor- Entertaining, but we see it on the news every night
Great list Jim!! I can only add “Grapes of Wrath” to that list. henry Fonda plays an excellent part and the story of the struggle these poor tenant farmers and what it took to survive.
I inadvertantly left off Patton! I should lose my SAG card for that one (if I had one!)
