Kansas City heads to New York to take on the Mets. No, not the Yankees, like for so many meaningful October games in days past, but the Mets for the World Series title. It’s been a long time for both teams, but the Royals are just a better team. And they made it to within one game last year of the title, so don’t expect them to leave this one on the table. Sure the Mets have a great pitching staff, but they are facing one of the best hitting teams in baseball. It’s hard not to pull for guys like Terry Collins and David Wright, as they are solid baseball guys, but the Royals just have too many weapons. Congratulations in advance to KC!
