Face it Yankee fans, if this guy misses Opening Day on 4-1-13, he must not be recovering from that bad break he suffered in the post season. This isn’t a guy who will settle to be a mediocre ballplayer. He has a Hall of Fame work ethic and will settle for nothing less. I hope I am wrong, but the way he has been hobbling around, it doesn’t look good. This guy has been nothing less than class act since Day 1. Very few like him. If he can come back, he will. If he can’t come back as the player he is, he won’t. But we have been lucky to have him in pinstripes for an entire career. He will never wear another uniform. A true Yankee.
